42nd ADVANCED COURSE IN AEROSPACE MEDICINE GRADUATES OUT OF IAM
42nd Advanced Course in Aerospace Medicine joined IAM in Mar 02 and after an arduous 155-week training at the Institute, all seven officers have cleared the examination successfully in Feb 05. Sqn Ldr Piush Renjhen stood first in merit and was awarded the Commandant's Rolling trophy for the Best Outgoing officer of the 42nd Advanced Course. Surg Lt Cdr VP Baburaj and Maj N Chaudhary were second and third respectively.
A valedictory function was held to mark the graduation. The chief guest for the event was Air Mshl BM Gokhale AVSM VM. The chief guest in his Valedictory address reiterated the fact that Indian Air Force is poised for a high degree of professionalism amongst aircrew and matching professionalism among support agencies would hold it in good stead. Commandant IAM advised the young specialists to apply the principles learnt to real life situations without losing sight of Flight Safety and without compromising mission safety. Chief Instructor read out the Course Report and the course senior delivered a vote of thanks. The spouses of the course officers were felicitated.
